Others Why do you need to donate? what are the costs involved in both radios? We get some income from google ads on main site otherwise you are the primary donor and you are the one that sponsors this radio. We
were recently able to drop our costs and update
this. The costs are now about 400$/month divided as follows: 1) Costs of bandwidth are the most expensive. We need to keep high bandwidth so that you hear us in CD quality and have no buffering- It is about 200$/month 2) Costs of Royalties paid to artists in USA, as we pay a license to loudcity which pays the correct royalties to the major royalty agencies in USA cost about 100$/month 3) Costs of Webhosting are high due to traffic and due to slideshow and need for reliability 20$/month 4) Costs of music itself, music is not free except when the artists send it to us 80$/month 5) Costs of hardware: hardrives, computers, routers, software needed to broadcast- varies Will you say my name as a donor on the radio? will you list it on this page? Donations are private except for the first name. No last name or amount will ever be mentioned unless you indicate in note section or in any email. Business name and link to your website or that of your business will also be provided if you would like. You can indicate that on your donation as a note or send us an email to info@beirutnights.com . You do not need a paypal account to be able to donate, you can donate by a credit card through paypal but without logging or having an account, it comes directly out of your credit card with the information: Beirutnights.com donation.
